Demystifying Bitcoin: Understanding the Million Pieces That Make It Whole

Did you get a chance to dive into the world of Bitcoin with Blockchain Becky and Natalie Brunell at the recent Eagle Summit? They joined via Zoom, but that in no way lessened the IMPACT! What Is Bitcoin?

Think of Bitcoin as digital money. Unlike traditional currency, you won't find it in paper or coin form. You can't touch it, but it's very real and you can use it to buy things online and in some physical stores.

Bitcoin's Building Blocks: Satoshis

Ever heard of a 'Satoshi'? Just like there are 100 pennies in a dollar, there are 100 million Satoshis in a Bitcoin. That's right—every Bitcoin can be broken down into a whopping 100,000,000 Satoshis. This allows for very small transactions; you don't have to spend a whole Bitcoin at once!

How Does It Work?

Imagine trading baseball cards, but digitally. You directly send or receive Bitcoin from one digital wallet to another. No middleman, no fuss.

What's the Role of Blockchain?

Blockchain is like a rulebook for Bitcoin. Every transaction you make gets recorded, and everyone can see it. It keeps the game fair and secure.

Why Should You Care?

Speed: Transactions are nearly instantaneous.

Ownership: Your Bitcoin wallet, your rules.

Global Reach: Send or receive Bitcoin anywhere in the world.

Blockchain Becky

Becky Leathers, joined forces with BitCoin expert, Natalie Brunell, to deliver an incredible session at the 64th Eagle Summit! If you missed it, you need to know Becky. Referred to us by Jay Peters himself, you know you're in good company!

Becky Leathers, also known as "Blockchain Becky," is a Crypto Evangelist who is personally involved in over a dozen crypto mining projects. These projects impact several major industries including healthcare, finance and gaming.

Becky is known for her incredible ability to take the complexity of crypto and communicate it in simple, easy to understand language. It is her life passion to equip people to take control of their destiny by using the amazing opportunities found in the crypto market, so they can pursue their own purpose and passions.

Prior to being a leader in the Blockchain space, Becky got her start in the entertainment industry. She has experience working on production teams for popular, nationally recognized programs such as America's Got Talent and The Voice and served as a casting director for several national commercials, movies and television shows.
