The recent summit was nothing short of remarkable—a testament to the collective wisdom, experience, and commitment we all bring to the table. Dr. Tom Hill often reminds us, "Your next level of success requires a next level of effort. Keep the momentum going!"

So, how do we take the collaborative spirit and insights from the summit and channel them into actionable growth throughout the year? One word: Networking.

Now, for seasoned professionals, networking isn't about collecting business cards or ticking off a 'meet-and-greet' quota. It's about deepening relationships and actively engaging in peer-to-peer mentorship.

Here's how:

Intentional Follow-Up: A week or so after the summit, send a thoughtful message to those you connected with. Recap any particular conversation points that were insightful and propose a way to collaborate or meet again soon.

Strategic Sharing: If you come across an article, webinar, or event that aligns with the interests or needs of someone in your network, share it with them. It shows you're thinking beyond just the initial interaction.

Focused Discussions: One-to-one interactions allow for deeper dives into topics you're mutually passionate about. Suggest a focused catch-up over a round of golf or a relaxed dinner, where the conversation can flourish naturally.

Peer Mentorship: Offer to exchange expertise. Maybe you're a whiz at organizational strategy, and your connection is a guru in sustainable practices. Share insights and collaborate on initiatives that could benefit you both.

Networking, in essence, is investing in relationships. These relationships have the power to catapult your ongoing initiatives into a realm of heightened success and fulfillment. Let's make the time between now and the next Eagle Summit count. After all, the connections you nurture now are the ones that will enrich your professional journey in the long run.

Stay connected, stay engaged, and keep that EAGLE SUMMIT momentum going!

Eagle of the Week

Scott Rupp

2022 Eagle Summit keynote speaker Scott Rupp announced the upcoming release of his new book I QUIT! Winning the War for Top Talent”.

Pre-orders are available on his website at www.ScottRupp.com/book (paperback only). The audiobook, e-book, and paperbacks will be released via Audible and Amazon in November.

About Scott:

Playing in two Little League World Series, eating dinner in the White House three times before the age of twelve, a successful political career, appearances on Dr. Phil and other national TV shows, and influence over some of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States, Scott Rupp has lived an exciting life. But the drive to do more and go higher left him hurtling through life at an unsustainable pace. That is until one of the rarest genetic disorders on the planet, a car bomb, and a tension-filled poker game with six felons, forced Scott to recognize he could not continue life at this pace. Realizing that God cared more about the person he became than what he could ever accomplish in his life, Scott began to devote his time and efforts to taking the principles of sustainability and applying them to his life. He now helps others understand how sustainable people can significantly enhance the growth and success of companies, communities, and individuals across the globe.

A renowned public speaker, Scott’s entertaining and enlightening presentations inspire and help audiences take action to understand why they do what they do, re-evaluate the sustainability of their efforts, and provide companies and their leaders the tools they need to meet the needs of their workforce consistently.

Scott has his Master of Science in Sustainability and his M.B.A. His wife, Carissa, is a mental health counselor whose knowledge and understanding of human behavior and the human brain greatly influence Scott’s work. They live in St. Louis, MO, with their five children.
