LIFE FORCE

How New Breakthroughs in Precision Medicine Can Transform the Quality of Your Life & Those You Love

Dr. Tom Hill recently shared the book LIFE FORCE, by Tony Robbins, as the book of the week. It's a BIG book, both physically (so many pages) and conceptually.

If you haven't read it, here's a high level summary of the 5 major take-aways. Of course, the book goes into MUCH more detail sharing extensive research, as well as case studies.

1. Harnessing New Medical Technologies: The book emphasizes the importance of exploring and embracing new advances in biotechnologies and medicine, which offer promising avenues for improving health and vitality.

2. Power of Stem Cells and Organ Regeneration: It highlights the remarkable potential of stem cells as our body's natural repair system. Additionally, it talks about the emerging reality of organ regeneration through methods like 3D printing and stem-cell platforms.

3. Preventive Health Measures: Robbins suggests that proactive health assessments, through tests for heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's, hormone levels, and heavy metals, can play a crucial role in prevention and extending our lives.

4. Innovations in Disease Treatment: The book introduces groundbreaking approaches in treating diseases, such as CAR T-cell therapy for cancer, incisionless brain surgery using focused ultrasound, and the use of gene therapy and CRISPR for potential disease cure.

5. Importance of Lifestyle and Supplements: It underscores the significant impact of our lifestyle, environment, and positive emotions on our well-being. It also details key medications and supplements that can enhance our energy levels and overall vitality.

The book is available on AMAZON in both hard cover and Audible.

BOOK OF THE WEEK

Never Lose a Customer Again: Turn Any Sale into Lifelong Loyalty in 100 Days

Award-winning speaker and business consultant Joey Coleman teaches audiences and companies all over the world how to turn a one-time purchaser into a lifelong customer.

Coleman's theory of building customer loyalty isn't about focusing on marketing or closing the sale: It's about the First 100 Days® after the sale and the interactions the customer experiences.

While new customers experience joy, euphoria, and excitement, these feelings quickly shift to fear, doubt, and uncertainty as buyer's remorse sets in. Across all industries, somewhere between 20%-70% of newly acquired customers will stop doing business with a company with the first 100 days of being a new customer because they feel neglected in the early stages of customer onboarding.

In Never Lose a Customer Again, Coleman offers a philosophy and methodology for dramatically increasing customer retention and as a result, the bottom line. He identifies eight distinct emotional phases customers go through in the 100 days following a purchase. From an impulse buy at Starbucks to the thoughtful purchase of a first house, all customers have the potential to experience the eight phases of the customer journey. If you can understand and anticipate the customers' emotions, you can apply a myriad of tools and techniques -- in-person, email, phone, mail, video, and presents -- to cement a long and valuable relationship.

Coleman's system is presented through research and case studies showing how best-in-class companies create remarkable customer experiences at each step in the customer lifecycle.

GETTING OLDER IS NO JOKE

(But we can laugh about it together!)

  1. "You know you're getting old when you bend down to tie your shoe and wonder what else you could do while you're down there."
  2. "As you get older, your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either."
  3. "I don't do algebra anymore, I know the value of 'x' — it's my waist size."
  4. "You're not old until a teenager describes you as middle-aged."
  5. "The great thing about getting older is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been." - Madeleine L'Engle (with a twist: "...though sometimes, you can't remember them!")
  6. "I finally got my head together, and my body fell apart."
  7. "At my age, 'getting lucky' means walking into a room and remembering why I went in there."
  8. "They say that age is all in your mind. The trick is keeping it from creeping down into your body."
  9. "You know you're getting old when your back goes out more than you do."
  10. "You're not old, you're... let's say, chronologically gifted!"
