A Christmas Message from Dr. Tom Hill

Dear Eagle Community,

As Christmas approaches, it's a time not only of celebration and joy but also of reflection and gratitude. This season, more than any other, resonates with the core values of faith, hope, and love — values that are dear to me and central to my beliefs.

The Essence of Christmas

Christmas, in its truest sense, is a time to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It's a season that reminds us of the gift of hope and salvation, and the unending love that God has for each of us. In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, I encourage us all to take a moment to reflect on these deeper spiritual meanings.

A Time for Giving and Sharing

This season is also a reminder of the importance of giving and sharing. It's a time to extend our hands and hearts to those in need, to spread kindness and compassion, and to strengthen the bonds within our families, our community, and beyond. The act of giving, be it time, resources, or a simple act of kindness, embodies the spirit of Christmas.

Gratitude and Reflection

I am continually grateful for the blessings in my life, including the warmth and support of this wonderful Eagle community. Let's use this time to reflect on our blessings, to show gratitude for the many gifts we have received, and to ponder how we can be a blessing to others.

Looking Forward with Hope

As we celebrate this special season, let's also look forward to the coming year with hope and optimism. Let us carry the true spirit of Christmas into every day of our lives, striving to make a positive impact on those around us and to live in a way that honors our faith and values.

Eagle of the Week

This week, we're thrilled to spotlight Dr. Roger Hall, a cherished member of our Eagle community, for his remarkable achievements and adventures in 2023.

Pioneering New Frontiers in Learning

Dr. Hall has been busy bringing knowledge to life in an engaging way. This past summer, he embarked on creating the 'Expedition Lessons,' a series of insightful learning experiences. Filmed with the help of a local business owner and his team, these lessons are slated for an online release in early 2024 on DrRogerHall.com. A New Chapter in Leadership: DIY Leader Brain

Hot on the heels of his previous work, Dr. Hall is working with his publisher on a follow-up book, 'DIY Leader Brain.' Building on the foundations laid in 'DIY Brain,' this upcoming book focuses on how leaders can empathize with and influence the thoughts and emotions of their teams. Scheduled for publication in 2024, it promises to be a must-read for anyone interested in enhancing their leadership skills. Adventures and Memories

On a more personal note, Dr. Hall and his wife, Patty, experienced a unique adventure in a backcountry yurt. Their journey, involving a challenging hike through deep snow and the tranquility of the wilderness, was a mix of Type 1 and Type 2 fun - delightful in retrospect but testing their mettle in the moment. This adventure underscored the true meaning of being a trailblazer.

At the recent Eagle Summit, it was inspiring to see Dr. Hall reconnect with old friends and make new ones, all while celebrating with Tom. His presence and contributions to our community are a constant source of inspiration and learning.
